The First Ultimate World Tour Program by Thai Amarin TV, Feb 2025

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Thailand’s Amarin TV to our art studio! Our unique mahjong art and cultural experience was featured on their popular travel program, “The First Ultimate World Tour” (เที่ยวสุดโลก), as part of their final Hong Kong episode: “Conquer Cheung Chau Island – Mong Kok, Super Fun!”.

It was a fantastic experience hosting the presenters, @michaelkvs and @petchtawan_. They dove right into the creative spirit by participating in our Creative Mahjong Tiles Colouring session, adding their personal touch to our signature ‘Love Hong Kong’ tile. Their visit provided a wonderful opportunity to share the blend of tradition, art, and hands-on creativity that defines Karen Aruba Art.

We’re especially grateful that the filming coincided perfectly with the completion of our studio’s semi-renovation in late 2024. Guests can now better immerse themselves in the artistic mahjong decor that fills our space. We’re also eagerly planning to introduce an expanded experience featuring more hand-carved mahjong making tools in the second half of 2025!

Being showcased alongside many other fantastic Hong Kong spots in an episode designed for tourists visiting our vibrant city is a true privilege. We love sharing the intricate beauty and cultural significance of hand-carved mahjong with visitors from around the globe with our creative mahjong workshop. Welcome to Hong Kong!
